Terms of Service

Welcome to Maven. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Maven mobile application (the "App") operated by Maven ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

Maven is a Premier League prediction game that allows users to predict match scores, earn points for accuracy, and compete with friends in private leagues. The App is provided for entertainment purposes only.

Maven is not a gambling or betting service. No real money is wagered, won, or lost through the App. Points and rankings are for entertainment and competition purposes only.

You must create an account to use Maven. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain offensive usernames, or engage in abusive behavior.

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; interfere with other users' enjoyment of the App; create multiple accounts to manipulate leagues or leaderboards; use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App; impersonate another person or entity; or share your account with others.

We reserve the right to remove predictions, disqualify users from leagues, or terminate accounts that we determine are violating these Terms.

Predictions must be submitted before the published deadline for each fixture. Late predictions will not be accepted.

Scoring is determined by the rules displayed in the App. We reserve the right to adjust scores in the event of data errors, postponed matches, or other exceptional circumstances.

League administrators can configure league settings, including the number of fixtures per gameweek. We are not responsible for disputes between league members.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Maven and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

Premier League, club names, and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Maven is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Premier League or any football club.

Match data is sourced from third-party providers. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of match data.

We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability.

We may update or modify the App at any time, including adding or removing features. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maven and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date below. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
