Maven ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Maven mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

By using Maven, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a username of your choosing. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the information you authorize Apple to share.

Prediction Data: We store your Premier League match predictions, scores, and league participation data to provide the core App functionality.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App experience, including screens visited, features used, and general interaction patterns.

Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for push notifications.

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the App; process and display your predictions and scores; manage leagues and leaderboards; send push notifications you have opted into (such as deadline reminders and score updates); and analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database services. Your account data and predictions are stored securely in Supabase-managed infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy for their privacy policy.

Cloudflare: Our API runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP addresses, headers) as part of delivering our service. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy for details.

PostHog: We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics to understand how users interact with the App. PostHog processes anonymized usage events. See posthog.com/privacy for their privacy policy.

Sentry: We use Sentry for error monitoring and crash reporting to maintain App stability. Sentry may receive technical data about errors including device type and OS version. See sentry.io/privacy for their privacy policy.

Expo: We use Expo for delivering over-the-air updates to the App. Expo may process basic device information for update delivery. See expo.dev/privacy for their privacy policy.

We retain your account data and prediction history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, though anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Prediction data associated with completed leagues may be retained in anonymized form for historical leaderboard accuracy.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and access controls on our infrastructure.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and associated data; export your prediction data; and withdraw consent for optional data processing (such as push notifications).

Maven is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date below.
